My most recent endeavour has involved writing and illustrating a series of children's fantasy books called 'World's Apart' based in Scotland and Japan - watch this space!

I have worked for about 30 years in independent creative production which has led to 5 BAFTA and 3 RTS wins and nominations for film title design and multiple D&AD and Design Week awards in projects spanning TV, film, web, branding and illustration.
I have lectured and judged design competitions internationally.
I graduated from and then became a research fellow at the Royal College of Art. I worked on feature films after college before co-founding the internationally famous design company, 'Airside' in 1997 with Fred Deakin and Nat Hunter. Airside was renowned for cross discipline projects spanning digital and film. I was Creative Director at Airside for 14 years before starting the award winning design agency Rupert Ray from 2012 - 2017
Please note that I am flattered to receive requests for artwork from my TV and film work.
However, I do not possess artwork in print resolution and so you could just as well use a screen grab from which to make a print for personal use.
